How to make your Wedding day even more special – A DJ point of view

As a DJ that has attended hundreds of Wedding, I have seen some amazing wedding and some that were forgetful in days. From subpar to absolutely amazing wedding, I have compiled a list to help anyone planning a wedding.  I want to share some of the amazing experiences with you. First off, you need a great wedding DJ. Sono DJ’s have over 20 years of experience to ensure perfection.

Outdoor Wedding

I know not everyone gets married in the summer, or lives somewhere that having the wedding outdoors is realistic, but it is worth the extra money and time. This is not common within the Greater Toronto Area, but it is possible with the right location and time.

Incorporates your hobbies

The best wedding always has something unique to the bride and groom. I thought this was standard advice, but plenty of wedding are just generic and boring. Even if you incorporate your hobbies or interest for the centrepiece, it is something unique.

Have a Signature Cocktail

Having alcohol is not for everyone, but if you have drinks at your wedding, consider having a Signature. The signature should be mutually agreed by the bride and groom and should be a mixed with fruits or smoothies.

Photo Booth

Having a photo booth is just an important as an open bar for some people. Guest love to have pictures of themselves at events such as wedding and parties. Offering a professional photo booth allows people to socialize, which is always a good thing.

Cocktail hour

I would be setting up my DJ equipment during cocktail and the guest often me if I know when it will start. I politely say I am just the DJ and have no idea when it could start. Always have lots of food available.

These are just some of the factors that make a great wedding. Please remember that this is my personal opinion. If you disagree, please leave your thoughts in the comments for others to see.
